Privacy Policy

Effective date: July 12, 2026

This policy explains what Tiny Pet Home handles on your Mac, what The Technical Founder, LLC receives if you contact support, and how Apple may process App Store information.

Summary

Tiny Pet Home is operated by The Technical Founder, LLC.

The Tiny Pet Home app is designed to work locally on your Mac.

  • No account is required.
  • No analytics SDK is included.
  • No advertising is included.
  • No tracking is performed.
  • No Tiny Pet Home backend or cloud sync is used.
  • Optional local folder access is chosen by you through the macOS folder picker.

Information Handled On Your Mac

Tiny Pet Home includes starter pet and home files inside the app. It processes those files locally. The app also stores local preferences such as your chosen resident and home, window state, and daily focus.

If you connect a local Codex data folder, Tiny Pet Home may read pet artwork and manifests, task or thread titles and identifiers, project names and paths, activity status and timestamps, and short recent user and assistant message snippets. This lets the app show local activity, conversation previews, and focus-aware feedback. Tiny Pet Home does not upload this content or send it to The Technical Founder, LLC.

If persistent access is needed after relaunch, the app may store a macOS security-scoped bookmark on your device so it can reopen the folder you selected. This local folder access is controlled by macOS and by the choices you make in the app.

You can use a bundled starter pet without connecting Codex. If you are connected and explicitly adopt a starter into Codex, the app may copy that starter's pet.json and spritesheet.webp files into the selected local pets folder. Those files remain on your Mac.

What Tiny Pet Home Does Not Send Or Collect Remotely

The Tiny Pet Home app does not transmit to or collect for The Technical Founder, LLC:

  • Your name, email address, contacts, payment information, or precise location.
  • Your browsing history, search history, or files for server-side processing.
  • Analytics, advertising identifiers, or device identifiers for tracking.
  • Local task titles, project paths, conversation snippets, pet files, or focus choices.

Local Storage And Deletion

App preferences and the security-scoped bookmark remain on your Mac until you reset them or remove the app's local data. You can disconnect the selected Codex folder in Tiny Pet Home. A starter pet that you explicitly copied into an external pets folder remains there until you remove it yourself.

Website And App Store Information

This website may be served by a hosting provider that processes ordinary technical request information, such as IP address and browser details, to deliver the site and keep it secure.

If you download Tiny Pet Home from the Mac App Store, Apple may process purchase, download, crash, payment, tax, and App Store operational information under Apple's own policies.

Support Requests

If you contact support, you may choose to provide information such as your email address, app version, macOS version, screenshots, or a description of the issue. Support information is used to respond to your request and improve Tiny Pet Home.

Please avoid sending passwords, API keys, private project files, or other sensitive information in support messages.

Support emails and related correspondence are retained only while reasonably needed to answer your request, troubleshoot issues, prevent abuse, maintain necessary business records, or satisfy legal obligations. When that information is no longer needed for those purposes, we delete or de-identify it. You may request earlier deletion, subject to any legal obligation to retain it.

  • You can choose whether to grant local folder access.
  • You can change or remove local folder access through the app or macOS permissions.
  • You can contact support to request deletion of support emails you sent.
